Thailand – always worth a trip

Thailand – always worth a trip

Thailand – we love it. In the heads of the people flashes once disreputable photos when they hear Thailand. There is no doubt that there are many men who travel to the land of smiles for relevant entertainment. We do not support this at all and it does not suit us.

Thailand is versatile

We have already visited Thailand several times and are always fascinated by the diversity of the country. The history of Thailand is old and eventful. In the beginning (at least according to historical tradition) the first Thai were influenced by the Indian culture of the Fudan Empire. Then it was replaced by the Dvaravati culture, a Buddhist network of states. And then there were the Khmer followed by the Europeans, especially the Portuguese. Then the Chakri dynasty moved in, which still rules the royal house today. At some point the Second World War still paid its toll. So the country has really experienced a lot.

Thailand is colorful

The first thing you notice in this beautiful country is the variety of colors and shapes. Gold, red, blue, green, orange, yellow, pink… …and all in varying degrees. Here the dresses and temples are colorful, the flowers also vie in all colors for the attention of the insects and observers. Even the food is colored. Red, green, yellow curry – what color would you like?

Thailand is temple land

An incredible number of temples can be found here. One does not need to be a believer to marvel at and visit the admiration of these architectural beauties. And all shapes and colors can be found here too. There is to mention the White Temple in the north, the Elephant Temple or the 5 Buddha statues sitting in a row in the mountains. The elephant temple is huge and the whole building including the access bridge consists of thousands and thousands of mosaic tiles. Those who have no admiration for it should stay at home.
