Yes – we are on the road again- the journey goes on. Some people are asking themselves why I write in English now. Well, the answer is easy. We are going to travel overseas – Canada and United States we are coming.

THE JOURNEY GOES ON

We are very excited. What awaits us in North America. Which country appeals to us more. Are the Canadians friendlier than the Americans? Do the Americans fulfil the typical clichés that we Europeans know from Hollywood movies? What kind of food awaits us? How long are the endless roads over land? Do we get the mileage-eating gobbledygook? How do we deal with the miles, feet, inches, gallons in America? Do we get 2/3 ice cream and 1/3 drink served in every drink?

And the big question. What are we going to do in Halifax for two weeks? Because the cargo ship with our Duro on it takes two weeks. So it’s quite clear that we’ll probably consult the App Vessel Finder every hour during the second week and check where the freighter is.

We are of course very excited about the winter. Because we want to spend it in sunny and warm Florida. But as we have heard before our departure, all Snowbirds from Canada and the North America should be in Florida. So we have to expect crowded campgrounds.
