The first time out. After about a year of renovation, the DuBu was finally allowed to go outside for the first time. The Duro always stood in a barn during the reconstruction. We’ve been working there, and we’ve stirred up a lot of dust by grinding, milling, sawing. This dust has settled with relish on the “skin” of the DuBu’s and has faded its beautiful complexion. And today, Saturday, 27 May 2017, DuBu could finally get under the warm sun.

We drove the DuBu out of the barn, down to the wash house. And there he got a shower which let the beautiful paint shine in its full glory. We have enormous joy in our color combination which we have also continued in the interior. I don’t know what I’m gonna talk about. Pictures say more than words at this point.

What happens next?

Yes, so the Dubu is out for the first time and how does it continue now? We are still doing the last small jobs and will spend our summer holidays with the Duro in the German countryside. Specifically – we will go to the Allrad Abenteuer in Bad Kissingen and from there we will make a tour through Bavaria. Of course we are happy like little children and hope for good weather and that our buildings last. So this will be an enjoyable test drive.
