Review March 2019
The Review March 2019 shows again something of Andalusia. This little spot of the earth is what we are particularly fond of. Not to forget the enormous architecture in Valencia.here we spent hours and were amazed by the cracked buildings. Some of them look like bugs. A worthwhile visit is also the Benedictine monastery Santa Maria de Monserrat about 45 kilometers northwest of Barcelona. Already the approach by car or motorbike is an experience and the view from Schlichtwerg is a force.
Then a short side trip to Andorra is also included and a bit of France before we land back in Switzerland.
REVIEW MARCH TO THE BASILICA OF THE EXTRA CLASS
Unfortunately we had to drive back to Switzerland much too fast. We would have loved to stay longer in the north of eastern Spain. We would have liked to explore Andorra even more intensively. And the southern part of France caught us as well. Especially the church in Lyon – it is a masterpiece of early architecture.
GORGES DU TARN
And by far the most beautiful corner we discovered in the south of France is the Gorges du Tarn. This gorge is a paradise for outdoor and climbing freaks. Also the fishermen get their money’s worth here and for the summer the valley is equipped with enough campsites. Thus, those who come once to this area should in any case drive through the valley. Those who want to drive through with a truck should also consider the vehicle height. It can get narrow.
Have fun and good longing with our review March. 🙂
