Description
The Omnia has been around for over 30 years and comes from Sweden. It is the clever little oven for the road. Directly on the gas flame, with the camping stove or on the stove top (not for induction) We often prepare a bread dough the evening before, fill the dough into the omnia. The dough can then continue to rise overnight. In the morning the gas flame is started and 40 minutes later we have a fresh, wonderfully smelling and deliciously fresh bread. We’d really be lost without the Omnia. 🙂
That’s how it works:
The camping oven Omnia consists of three parts.
– An aluminium mould that looks like a round cake tin with a hole in the middle.
Fill these up to about half with the ingredients or with the dough.
– The mould includes a specially shaped steel base, which also has a hole in the middle.
– The red lid has small ventilation holes and a sufficient height to allow cake and bread
can open up properly.
– The Omnia is placed with the hole directly above the flame (or in the middle of the hotplate).
This causes the heat from the flame to rise through the construction, creating top heat in the oven.
Dimensions:
Diameter 250 mm, capacity 2.0 litres, height 70 mm,
Total height including knob 140 mm.
